An unfortunate incident occurred in Alexandria, Egypt, where a fan suffered a severe circulatory collapse and died while watching the Egypt versus Argentina football match.

The match concluded with a victory for the Argentine national team, which caused sadness among sports followers in Egypt.

The fan was watching the intense football game at a café in the eastern part of the governorate. Unable to handle the intense pressure and excitement during the match, he passed away before reaching the hospital despite resuscitation attempts.

Initial investigations revealed that the deceased was deeply engaged in the match before his health deteriorated. Those present at the café attempted to provide first aid and revive him on site, then rushed him to the nearest hospital. Medical staff confirmed his death was due to acute circulatory failure caused by excessive emotional stress during the game.

Following the incident, security forces established a perimeter around the location and began taking statements from eyewitnesses among the café patrons. A legal report was also filed.

The public prosecution was informed and initiated an investigation. After conducting a medical examination and confirming no criminal suspicion, they issued a burial permit for the body.
