The drama series "The Bear" has secured the highest number of nominations for the 2026 Emmy Awards, receiving 25 nominations in total. Meanwhile, the final season of the comedy series "Hacks" set a new record by earning 24 nominations within the same year.

Among the contenders for the Best Drama Series category are the shows "The Diplomat," "The Gilded Age," "House of the Dragon," "The Paradise," "Many People," "Failed Intelligence Agents," and "Your Friends and Neighbors." In the Best Comedy Series category, "Hacks" competes alongside "Abbott Elementary," "The Bear," "Marjorie’s Financial Problems," "Nobody Wants This," "Only Murders in the Building," "The Shrink," and "Weed Bay."

Noah Wyle returns as a nominee for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his role in "The Bear," competing with Sterling K. Brown and Gary Oldman. Jane Smart received a nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for "Hacks," alongside Issa Rae and Quinta Brunson.

Hannah Einbinder was nominated for Best Supporting Actress, while Harrison Ford and Zendaya also received acting nominations. Jason Bateman earned four nominations for his work on "D.T.F. St. Louis" and "Black Rabbit."

The winners will be announced during a ceremony scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on September 14, which will be broadcast live on NBC.
