The Russian national team concluded its campaign at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships with a sixth-place finish in the women’s team competition. This result eliminated any possibility of qualifying directly for the 2028 Summer Olympics.
The event took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Russian squad, comprising Alina Glotova, Milana Kayumova, Zlata Osukina, Alexandra Anufrieva, Elizaveta Os, and Lyudmila Roshina, accumulated a total score of 159.394 points.
China Claims Gold Medal Title
Team China secured the world championship title with a final tally of 165.764 points. The United States followed closely in second place, recording 165.531 points, while Japan claimed third position with 164.063 points.
According to the report, only the top three ranked teams earned automatic qualification berths for the upcoming 2028 Olympic Games.

In a related development, Dutch authorities had previously refused entry visas to three prominent members of the Russian roster: Angelina Melnikova, Victoria Listunova, and Anna Kalmykova. Officials justified the decision by stating that the athletes posed a threat to international relations.
