Beijing is preparing to host one of the most unusual technology competitions in the world: the 2026 Global Robot Games, which will feature 2056 humanoid robots. The event merges sport, artificial intelligence, and robotics in a spectacle reminiscent of science fiction films.

A total of 666 teams from 16 countries will take part in the games. Competitions will span more than 30 distinct events, all aimed at evaluating robot capabilities outside controlled laboratory environments.
