The Enabot EBO Air 2 Plus redefines indoor surveillance by mounting a 3K security camera on a mobile, tracked platform. This device patrols rooms autonomously, detects motion, and follows people or pets, distinguishing itself from stationary IP cameras through its ability to navigate via remote control over the internet.

Core Navigation and Camera Capabilities

Users operate the robot through the EBO HOME app, which offers directional controls for forward, backward, left, and right movement alongside adjustable speed and steering sensitivity. The system supports switching between 3K, HD, and standard-resolution video streams, while allowing users to toggle the microphone and speaker functions. Night vision is enabled by the 5MP camera, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions.

Automatic patrol functionality allows the storage of up to 10 distinct routes that can be executed on a schedule. When battery levels drop, the unit returns to its charging dock automatically. Access permissions can be shared among multiple household members through separate accounts, facilitating collaborative monitoring without compromising individual privacy settings.

AI Integration and Communication Tools

Enabot markets the device as a "FamilyBot," incorporating conversational AI capabilities powered by models such as ChatGPT. These features enable voice interactions, storytelling, and selectable voice characters, though they do not alter the robot's primary function as a telepresence and mobile camera unit rather than a physical labor assistant.

Two-way audio and video calls are supported, utilizing the robot’s front displays to show the caller’s face during conversations. The hardware connects via both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands and includes motion alerts, recording controls, and automatic subject tracking to maintain focus on moving targets within the home environment.

Battery Life and Physical Limitations

Powered by a 5,000mAh battery, the EBO Air 2 Plus delivers approximately four hours of continuous movement, extending to 9–10 hours in standby or recording modes. Its tracked design allows it to clear obstacles up to 10mm high and climb slopes of up to 15 degrees, but these specifications limit its effectiveness across higher thresholds or between floors.

Available in Lunar White, Orbit Grey, and Nebula Purple, the device has been advertised with a 15% discount in Enabot’s European store. Pricing, discount duration, and availability vary by market, requiring potential buyers to consider the practical constraints of its mobility features relative to their home layout.
