Honor Magic9 Pro Max launches with triple 200MP camera, 8800mAh battery

Honor has announced plans to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the Magic9 Pro Max — a device engineered specifically for photography and videography enthusiasts. The handset integrates high-end imaging hardware and advanced display and power technologies aimed at professional-grade mobile content creation.

Triple 200MP Main Camera System

The Magic9 Pro Max features a triple-lens primary camera array rated at 200 megapixels + 200 megapixels + 50 megapixels. This configuration includes a time-of-flight (TOF) 3D sensor and a laser depth sensor to enhance subject separation and depth mapping. Its front-facing camera delivers 50 megapixels and supports 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.

6.8-Inch LTPO OLED Display With Advanced Video Support

The device sports a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 1320 × 2868 pixels. It operates at a 120Hz refresh rate and offers a pixel density of approximately 464 pixels per inch. The display is certified for Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid playback standards.

Android 17, MagicOS 11, and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Platform

Running Android 17 with Honor’s MagicOS 11 user interface, the Magic9 Pro Max is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor and an Adreno graphics processing unit. It ships with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM and internal storage options of 256GB or 512GB.

Connectivity, Biometrics, and Power Specifications

The smartphone includes dual SIM support, USB Type-C 3.2, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also incorporates infrared (IR) blaster functionality for remote control of compatible electronics. A built-in 8800mAh battery enables fast charging at up to 100 watts via wired connection and 80 watts via wireless charging.
