Salesforce agreed to purchase the Breze platform for $5.6 billion, offering shareholders $47.50 per share in cash.

Salesforce has entered into an agreement to acquire the Breze platform for a total of $5.6 billion. Under the terms of the deal, public Class A shareholders of Breze will receive $47.50 in cash for each share they hold.
The acquisition aims to enhance customer interaction by integrating Breze’s decision-making artificial intelligence tools into Salesforce’s existing suite. This includes embedding the platform within Marketing Cloud, CRM, and Data 360 systems.
Salesforce expects these capabilities to support the launch of a more complete version of its Customer 360 platform. The move is designed to expand the scope of brand-to-customer connectivity across its services.
The transaction is projected to close during Salesforce’s next fiscal year. Upon completion, Breze is expected to bring extensive expertise in mobile experiences, data engineering, and customer engagement to the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
Despite the significant financial outlay, Salesforce indicated that no changes are anticipated to its financial forecasts for fiscal year 2027 as a result of this acquisition.
