US telecom giants saw significant stock drops following news of SpaceX's strategic moves. AT&T fell up to 7%, while T-Mobile US and Verizon each lost over 6%.

Shares of major US telecommunications companies recorded noticeable declines immediately after news spread about new strategic moves by "SpaceX". The stock of "AT&T" fell by up to 7 percent during after-hours trading, while both "T-Mobile US" and "Verizon" suffered losses exceeding 6 percent each.
"SpaceX" clarified that the recently acquired spectrum licenses will open the way for signals to pass through walls. This technological development allows direct connection with traditional devices available to users, such as smartphones, without necessarily requiring complex additional equipment in some scenarios.
In the current situation, the "Starlink" service relies on providing high-speed internet via satellites, but this requires the user to have a dedicated receiver equipped with a special antenna, in addition to the necessity of having a clear line of sight to the satellite to ensure service quality.
Elon Musk confirmed that this strategic step will enable "SpaceX" to provide comprehensive coverage across all parts of the United States. He pointed out that there are wide areas currently suffering from a lack or weakness of access to mobile internet services, making this deal of great importance to bridge the digital divide.
But the path towards full implementation is not free of bureaucratic obstacles; the company must first obtain official approval from the Federal Communications Commission, the regulatory body responsible for the telecommunications sector in the country. This approval includes allowing the integration of the current satellite internet service with existing terrestrial networks.
The relevant spectrum was sold by the investment firm "Green Management". Despite the announcement of the completion of the process, the exact financial value of the purchase price was not disclosed immediately, keeping the economic details of the deal confidential at the current stage.
