42 Killed in Armed Attacks in Southwest Pakistan's Balochistan
Three armed assaults in Balochistan over four days have resulted in 42 deaths among civilians and security forces, according to Pakistan's military.

The Pakistan Army announced on Wednesday that three separate armed attacks carried out by militants in the southwestern province of Balochistan have caused the deaths of 42 individuals, including civilians and members of security forces, over a span of four days.
Military spokesperson Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry stated that among the victims were four civilians, while the remainder consisted of police and army personnel.
Earlier official figures released on Tuesday reported the deaths of nine police officers.
On Tuesday, the Pakistan police confirmed that nine of their officers were killed during an armed assault on a police station in the Ziarat district of Balochistan.
According to the English edition of Pakistan's Samaa TV, citing police sources, a group of militants attacked the police station, leading to intense gunfire exchanges between the attackers and security forces, which resulted in the deaths of the nine police officers.
