Ten Israeli soldiers were hospitalized after inhaling tear gas during a military training exercise, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.

Ten Israeli soldiers suffered from tear gas inhalation after a gas bomb was mistakenly thrown instead of a sound bomb during a military training exercise, as reported by the "Yedioth Ahronoth" newspaper today, Thursday.
According to the Hebrew newspaper's report, the incident that occurred yesterday, Wednesday, took place within the "Fahd" Battalion, when a tear gas bomb was thrown during the drill instead of the sound bomb designated for training.
All members of the group were exposed to smoke and gas, while 10 injured individuals were transported to hospitals to receive treatment for the effects of inhalation. The Hebrew report did not specify the severity of the ten injuries.
The Israeli army typically uses sound bombs and non-lethal means in its training exercises, including tear gas, to simulate crowd control or breach scenarios.
The protocol for these drills requires strict separation between training munitions and those with physiological effects, because mixing them exposes participants to respiratory injuries and irritation of the eyes and respiratory system, even within a controlled environment.
