At least 13 people were wounded when unknown gunmen opened fire on a crowd in Chicago, according to local police reports.
Chicago police reported that unidentified shooters fired into a crowd, resulting in injuries to at least 13 individuals, according to "ABC" channel.
The incident occurred on Friday evening in the Princeton Park area. Chicago police responded to a shooting report around 11:00 p.m. local time (7:00 a.m. Moscow time on Saturday).
"On Friday night, two individuals fired from a passing vehicle in the city's southern part, leaving at least 13 people injured," the channel's report stated.
Investigators told "ABC" that a red SUV approached a large crowd, from which two occupants discharged firearms before fleeing the scene. The victims, aged between 17 and 47, were transported to hospitals for treatment.
