Spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Malki, announced that coalition forces have destroyed a ballistic missile launcher located in the capital, Sanaa. Additionally, troops targeted a mountainous site in Saada, eliminating a storage facility containing 20 ballistic missiles.
Al-Malki stated earlier that 100 combat aircraft participated in the early hours of Monday during "Operation Dawn of Yemen." He confirmed that 324 high-value targets were destroyed at the commencement of this military campaign.
The spokesperson noted that coalition forces provide continuous air support to the Yemeni Armed Forces on the ground around the clock. This assistance includes securing aerial protection for the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, while operations against moving targets remain ongoing.
Yemeni authorities indicated that the first phase of current operations will concentrate on the Bab el-Mandeb and Mocha regions. The government intends to accelerate efforts to establish its authority and end Houthi control over these areas.
