Denver Airport Closes Areas Over Potential Security Threat

Denver International Airport in Colorado announced early Saturday the closure of specific areas within the airport due to a potential security threat.

The airport issued a brief statement on its X platform, stating that "due to a potential security threat, the sixth floor (west side) has been closed until further notice."

The closure also affects the western security checkpoint and the departure area, according to the airport administration.

The airport advised travelers to use the sixth floor on the east side for departure procedures and security screening.
