A drone collided with a residential building in Galați, eastern Romania, causing a fire and injuring two people, with about 70 residents evacuated.
Mediafax agency reported that a drone crashed into a residential building in the city of Galați, located in eastern Romania.
The agency stated that the collision caused an explosion, which ignited a fire in one of the apartments, resulting in injuries to two individuals. The fire was later extinguished.
Approximately 70 residents of the building were evacuated following the incident, according to Mediafax.
Earlier, Reuters reported the detection of another drone in northwestern Romania, which was not carrying any explosive payload.
