For the First Time: Ukraine Deploys Its FP-7 Ballistic Missile to the Battlefield
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the first combat use of the tactical ballistic missile FP-7, confirming that production of the new weapon will begin.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Thursday the first combat use of the Ukrainian tactical ballistic missile FP-7, confirming that his country will begin producing the new missile.
Zelenskyy said in a statement posted via the Telegram app, accompanied by a video clip: "Ukrainian tactical ballistic missile. FP-7. First combat use. Thank you for the result. Next - Production."
The Ukrainian president did not provide details regarding the operation in which the missile was used or the nature of the target it was employed against.
The Ukrainian defense industry company "Fire Point" developed the FP-7 missile. The company had previously announced earlier this month that the missile had completed two out of three stages of testing and could enter combat use within weeks.
Published reports described the FP-7 as a ground-launched ballistic missile with a declared range of approximately 200 kilometers, while its maximum speed reaches about 1500 meters per second.
