Several people were injured today, Saturday, following a bomb explosion on a bus belonging to Syria's internal security forces near the capital Damascus, according to the Syrian state news agency "SANA".

The agency did not provide a specific casualty count or details about the exact location of the explosion, and no group has claimed responsibility for it so far.

In a separate security development, Syrian media reported that internal security forces, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Directorate, arrested members of a terrorist cell affiliated with ISIS.

According to reports, the cell was preparing explosive devices targeting the road connecting the eastern Syrian cities of Al-Meyadyn and Deir ez-Zor.
