Iranian Newspaper: Washington and Tel Aviv Have Decided to Start a New War
An Iranian newspaper close to parliament speaker Ghalibaf claims Washington and Tel Aviv have decided to launch a new war, suggesting diplomatic exchanges between Tehran and the US will yield no tangible results before the next confrontation.

Iran's "Khorasan" newspaper, which is close to Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, reported that Washington and Tel Aviv have made a decision to start a new round of war. The paper considered it unlikely that message exchanges between Tehran and Washington would achieve tangible results before the outbreak of a new confrontation.
In a report published today, Sunday, the newspaper stated, "Anyone who follows even slightly the developments of last week and their analyses can easily realize that the decision to start the next war has been taken in Washington and Tel Aviv." It added that Tehran, due to years of experience dealing with Americans, realizes that exchanging messages will likely not have a tangible impact, at least until after the next confrontation.
The newspaper did not provide specific evidence in its statements to prove that Washington and Tel Aviv have made a final decision to wage a new war.
In a related context, "Khorasan" criticized what it described as political polarization within Iran, noting that the reformist current has linked its political survival for decades to negotiation and engagement with the United States, while the opposing current has linked its political future to rejecting negotiation and dealing with the West.
This reading comes amid ongoing debate within Iran regarding the viability of the diplomatic path with Washington, at a time when fears of renewed military confrontation are escalating.
