Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared that every provision within the memorandum of understanding serves the interests of Iran, adding that the benefits from these negotiations will soon become evident.

In remarks reported by official media, Pezeshkian noted a complete change in the stance of US President Donald Trump. He cited Trump’s recent speech, where the president acknowledged that many rights belong to the Iranian people, according to the IRNA news agency.

Addressing related issues, Pezeshkian explained that Washington insists Iran must not acquire nuclear weapons. He emphasized that the late Supreme Leader consistently stressed that Iran does not seek to possess such arms.

Separately, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqaei stated, as reported by IRNA, that the current meeting is part of ongoing efforts to follow up on the implementation of the memorandum of understanding with the United States.

Iranian state television also reported that a delegation from Iran is meeting with representatives from Pakistan and Qatar to discuss ending hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon.
