Iranian agency Fars refutes President Trump's claims of control over the Strait of Hormuz, revealing that seven oil tankers were targeted by the IRGC Navy in just five days.

Iranian agency "Fars" published a report today, Saturday, regarding the number of violating oil tankers targeted in the Strait of Hormuz.
The agency stated: "While Trump claims almost daily that the Strait of Hormuz remains open and under American control, reports indicate that the naval force affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has targeted more than one oil tanker on most of the past days."
The agency added: "Based on data from the British Navy, a maritime traffic tracking account reported that two Kuwaiti tankers and three Emirati tankers were targeted over four days. With two additional tankers targeted on Friday, the total number of tankers targeted by Iran reached seven during five days."
Traffic through this vital waterway remains extremely limited, despite President Donald Trump's insistence that the strait is open and that the United States still controls it.
Trump had repeatedly affirmed that he does not trust Iran, claiming that the United States currently possesses "full control" over the Strait of Hormuz.
