Al-Zaidi stated that Iraqi security forces have reached a level of readiness to fully assume responsibility for the country's security. He highlighted that Washington's dispatch of cash shipments in US dollars to Iraq is intended as a goodwill gesture. These shipments are subject to specific criteria established by the Central Bank of Iraq to ensure transparency and oversight in currency circulation.

He also disclosed ongoing efforts to apprehend fugitives accused of crimes, confirming that arrest warrants have been issued against them. Al-Zaidi explained that tanks were deployed during the "Saulat al-Fajr" operation in Baghdad to completely seal off the Green Zone, thereby securing the success of the security operation.

Furthermore, Al-Zaidi revealed that confessions from the Deputy Minister of Oil, Adnan al-Jumaili, led to the identification of new individuals involved in corruption cases. The judiciary has issued arrest warrants against these individuals as part of a broad campaign to combat corruption within state institutions.

Addressing speculation about Iraq's membership in OPEC, Al-Zaidi clarified that Iraq will not withdraw from the organization. However, the country is seeking to obtain a fair share of oil production that safeguards its economic interests within the framework of global balances.
