The Israeli army announced the elimination of two Hamas operatives, including a military wing commander and a surveillance unit member, during airstrikes in Khan Younis.

The Israeli army announced on Sunday that it eliminated Muaz Jamal Abu Nasira, a commander in the military wing of the Hamas movement, during an airstrike in the Khan Younis area of the Gaza Strip.
The army added that it also eliminated Mahmoud Ibrahim Dhib Aliyan, a member of Hamas's surveillance unit, in another strike on Saturday.
The army stated that Aliyan was observed recently working to advance plots against its forces in the Yellow Line area, as well as rebuilding Hamas capabilities, which it described as a systematic violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The army clarified that Aliyan was killed in an airstrike, confirming that forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the region in accordance with the agreement and will continue operations to remove any immediate threat.
