Israel's National Security Council issued a travel warning to its citizens regarding international travel ahead of the Jewish holidays, urging avoidance of staying in or visiting several Arab and Islamic countries.

The council placed Jordan, Qatar, Egypt—including the Sinai Peninsula—and Somalia on level four alert, the highest warning level, urging Israelis not to travel to these countries and to leave immediately if already present.

Warnings also included Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, and Algeria, with recommendations to avoid traveling there. The council noted ongoing potential risks in countries surrounding Iran, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, and the UAE, due to concerns over activities linked to Tehran or its allies.

The National Security Council clarified that the assessment comes amid regional tensions and continued threats targeting Israelis and Jews abroad, urging travelers to follow travel advisories and adhere to security agencies' assessments.
