Israeli Army Awaits Political Directive After Iran Ends Military Operations
The Israeli military is awaiting clear political instructions following Iran's announcement of halting military actions against Israel.

An Israeli military source stated that the army is waiting for explicit guidance from political leadership regarding the approach it will take toward Iran, according to Channel 12.
Reuters reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump held a phone conversation on Monday, coinciding with Iran's announcement to cease military operations against Tel Aviv.
The official added that the call took place before Trump posted on social media that Israel and Iran were seeking an immediate ceasefire.
In an unexpected move, the Iranian army declared on Monday the end of its military operations against Israel, warning of harsher attacks if Tel Aviv resumes assaults on Lebanon, as reported by the official Fars news agency.
The statement said that Iranian armed forces carried out a "painful response" against Israel in retaliation for what it described as "aggressions and violations" in southern Lebanon and the Dahieh area, which it claimed were supported by the United States.
Hostilities between Israel and Iran flared again on Monday, marking a serious escalation that challenges the declared ceasefire in the region and threatens to undermine hopes for an agreement to end the Middle East conflict.
