Israeli Army Eliminates Hamas Military Wing Cell Leader in Gaza
The Israeli Defense Forces announced the killing of Muhannad Othman Yassin Farwana, leader of a Hamas military cell, in a targeted airstrike in southern Gaza.

The Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson Ella Wa'awiya stated on Axios that on Saturday evening, IDF forces operating under the Southern Command launched an attack in the southern Gaza Strip, killing Muhannad Othman Yassin Farwana, who led a militant cell within Hamas's military wing.
Wa'awiya added that Farwana had been actively involved throughout the war and recently in orchestrating numerous terrorist plans targeting IDF forces and the State of Israel, posing an immediate threat to the troops deployed in the area.
She further explained that the militant was eliminated in a precise airstrike aimed at neutralizing the threat.
