Israeli Finance Minister Sees No Benefit in Joining US-Iran Conflict Now

Israeli Finance Minister Betzalel Smotrich stated that Israel does not see any advantage in currently joining the military confrontation between the United States and Iran, considering the present situation the best option for Tel Aviv.

Following a nighttime security meeting, Smotrich said, "Israel is not interested in joining the limited confrontation between Iran and the United States at this stage," adding that his country is prepared to handle any potential developments.

During the "Qatif for National Responsibility" conference organized by the Gush Qatif Heritage Center, he emphasized, "The current situation serves our interests, and we do not want to push ourselves into involvement," confirming that Israel closely monitors developments and maintains readiness for any scenario.

Smotrich's remarks come amid ongoing escalation between Washington and Tehran, with concerns about the conflict expanding regionally and involving additional parties.
