On Saturday evening, the Israeli army carried out a series of airstrikes targeting areas in central Gaza, following bombardments that resulted in the deaths of four Palestinians in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

A correspondent reported that the Israeli military executed at least four air raids on agricultural land near Salah al-Din Street, east of Deir al-Balah city.

The strikes caused extensive destruction to agricultural greenhouses located around the targeted site, which had been evacuated after prior warnings issued by the Israeli army to local residents.

Earlier on the same day, three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a tent in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Additionally, one Palestinian died after a direct strike on a tent near the Dabayt junction in central Gaza city.

In related operations, the Israeli army conducted a large-scale demolition east of Khan Younis city in southern Gaza.

Moreover, demolition and gunfire operations were carried out in the Sanfour area east of Gaza city. This area had recently seen the removal of what is known as the "yellow line," around which Israeli military forces are stationed within Gaza’s borders.

The Israeli military announced the killing of Walid Haniya, deputy commander of a company within the elite "Nukhba" unit of Hamas’s military wing.

The army stated that, in cooperation with the General Security Service (Shabak), they eliminated Walid Haniya two days prior. He was reportedly the leader of a group involved in the planning of the October 7 attack.

According to the Israeli military, Walid Haniya was involved in directing and instructing a group of Hamas members before they entered southern Israel and abducted Israeli hostages into the Gaza Strip.
