Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy confirmed on Sunday that multiple primary electricity substations went offline due to a technical fault.
The outage triggered power interruptions in several areas within the Hawalli and Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorates, according to an official statement issued by the ministry via the X platform.
In its statement, the ministry reported that emergency response teams have been deployed to affected sites and are working to restore electricity supply as quickly as possible.
