Majority in Israel Supports Limiting Term of Next Prime Minister
A Channel 13 poll reveals that 65% of Israelis support government measures to limit the term of the next prime minister, with strong backing from opposition voters.

A poll conducted by Hebrew Channel 13 and announced on Wednesday evening revealed that a majority of Israelis support government measures to limit the term of the next prime minister.
65% of survey participants stated they support the next government taking steps to limit the prime minister's tenure in Israel. In contrast, 19% opposed this, while 17% said they had no specific opinion.
87% of opposition voters expressed support for this trend, compared to 36% of coalition voters.
Participants were asked whether they support or oppose the next government establishing an official (governmental) commission of inquiry into the events of October 7; 69% answered affirmatively, against only 15% who opposed it, while 16% stated they did not know.
95% of opposition voters supported the establishment of an official commission of inquiry, with only 2% opposing it, while 43% of coalition voters supported it and 31% opposed it.
