said Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev that Germany deserves to receive a direct strike targeting all its facilities dedicated to military equipment supplied to Kyiv's regime.

Medvedev spoke about the possibility of retaliation in response to Kyiv's threats against civilian aviation in Russian airspace.

He added: "Germany deserves a direct strike on all German military equipment production facilities dedicated to Kyiv's regime."

He wrote in his Telegram channel: "Berlin has accused Russia of an unproven attack on Leipzig Airport. Given the new Nazi path and intense hostility toward Russia adopted by the current German leadership, fabricated sabotage is merely the weakest form of punishment for their crimes."

He continued: "They deserve a direct strike targeting all German facilities producing military equipment supplied to Bandera's gang, and perhaps also some other sites in Berlin."

Leipzig police had announced on August 5 that an employee at Leipzig/Halle Airport discovered a drone carrying explosive materials in the air cargo security zone.

Germany blamed Russia for the incident without providing any evidence, despite the Russian embassy describing the drone event from the outset as a hastily concocted provocation.
