Mohammed bin Zayed and Syrian President Discuss Strengthening Economic Ties
UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa to discuss bilateral cooperation, economic ties, and regional developments.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received a phone call from Ahmed al-Sharaa, President of the Syrian Arab Republic. During the call, they discussed fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation between the two countries, particularly ways to strengthen ties in development and economic fields to serve their mutual interests and bring prosperity to their peoples.
The two sides also exchanged views during the call on a number of issues and regional and international developments, as well as efforts made regarding them, most notably the developments witnessed by the Middle East region and their implications for the future, security, and stability of the region. They affirmed the importance of strengthening the causes of regional security and stability, which serves the interests of all peoples in the region and their development.
