Mojtaba Khamenei Absent on Second Day of Father's Funeral in Tehran

Mojtaba Khamenei, the son and successor of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has not appeared during the second day of his father's funeral ceremonies in Tehran.

Today in Tehran, the funeral prayer for Ali Khamenei is being held with the participation of large crowds and prominent Iranian officials. The prayer is led by Ja'far Sobhani, who is 97 years old.

It remains unclear whether Mojtaba Khamenei will attend any of the events scheduled over the six days of mourning.

Mojtaba has been absent since the American-Israeli strike that resulted in the death of his father on February 28, the first day of the war launched by the two countries against Iran.
