Netanyahu Warns of 'Election Attacks' and Vows Retaliation

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on Tuesday from the Tel Nof Air Base, threatened those he described as "enemies of Israel" that they would be reached "everywhere and at any time," stating that his country has indicators suggesting possible attacks against it as elections draw near.

According to a statement issued by his office, Netanyahu said: "Do not mess with us, not now and not at any time, for our long arm will reach you everywhere and at any time." He did not name the entities to whom his threat was directed, nor clarify the nature of the indicators he mentioned.

He added that Israel continues its operations on several fronts, including Gaza and Lebanon. He claimed that Israeli forces killed more than 100 individuals he described as "terrorists" in Gaza during recent weeks, and announced the killing of a commander in the Hamas brigade in the northern sector of the Strip last night.

Netanyahu clarified that he faces pressure to retreat from what he described as military achievements, affirming that he will not allow this. His remarks come ahead of the Israeli elections scheduled for October 27 next year.
