Netanyahu from the West Bank: Ready for Any Scenario, Including Palestinian Authority Turning Weapons Against Us
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned against testing Israel during a visit to the West Bank, stating readiness for any scenario including the Palestinian Authority turning weapons against Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned against testing Tel Aviv during a tour of the West Bank, affirming readiness for any scenario, including the Palestinian Authority turning its weapons toward Israel.
Netanyahu visited the Israeli army's operational area in the West Bank, accompanied by the Defense Minister, the Head of the National Security Council, and the Commander of the Central Command.
Leaders of the Israeli army, the General Security Service (Shin Bet), and the Border Police presented to him "efforts made to defend settlements" along the contact line. They also displayed "extensive thwarting operations carried out around the clock in villages to arrest armed individuals, confiscate combat means, and deal with any threat that may arise from them."
Netanyahu said: "I am here with the Defense Minister and officers from the Israeli army, at what is known as the contact line. Behind me is the former Tulkarm refugee camp, which was a stronghold of terrorism. The Israeli army entered it and cleaned it according to our directives, accomplishing excellent work, not only here."
In reference to the Supreme Court, he added: "I heard that there is someone in the Supreme Court saying that residents should be returned here. These are not residents, but armed men. The entity that will control this area and remain there is the Israel Defense Forces."
He continued: "There will be no Arab army west of the Jordan River; rather, the Israel Defense Forces will be here. We must understand that we are minutes away from Netanya, minutes away from the coastal line."
Netanyahu also said: "Israel's narrow waist will no longer remain narrow. We maintain control from the Jordan River to the Sea. This is our state, and this is our control."
The Prime Minister addressed security warnings, saying: "I want to say that there are security warnings here, and this is true. Our enemies are thinking about testing us during these days, with elections approaching."
He added: "I warn them that we are ready for any scenario, including what is called a weapon coup (the Palestinian Authority turning its weapons toward Israel in the West Bank). The Israeli army presented before me and the Defense Minister a strong and comprehensive plan. In such a case, I do not advise our enemies to test us, for they will face a power they never dreamed of."
Netanyahu concluded his remarks by saying: "We will continue to maintain Israel's security here, on the contact line, and everywhere. We establish settlements here, numbering more than 104 settlements, alongside many agricultural settlement outposts. We maintain the security of the State of Israel."
