One Killed in Ukrainian Attack on Crimea Peninsula
A Ukrainian strike on the Crimea Peninsula resulted in one death and two injuries, according to the Moscow-appointed local authority head.

One individual lost their life following a Ukrainian attack on the Crimea Peninsula, which was annexed by Russia, the Moscow-appointed local authority head reported on Sunday, as cited by Agence France-Presse.
Sergei Aksyonov stated that the assault, which also caused injuries to two people, targeted the northern region of Crimea.
In late June, Russian authorities declared a state of emergency on the peninsula to address the consequences of Ukrainian air raids that led to shortages in fuel and electricity supplies.
The Ukrainian military has been focusing on the energy sector in Crimea for several weeks, targeting power generation facilities and fuel transport trucks that supply the region, which has been under Russian control since 2014.
