Qatar and Iran Discuss Mediation Efforts Between Washington and Tehran and Lebanon Developments

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a telephone call from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The conversation focused on mediation efforts between the United States and Iran as well as recent developments in Lebanon.

During the call, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister reaffirmed Qatar's support for all initiatives aimed at containing escalation and reaching a comprehensive agreement that contributes to consolidating security and stability and achieving sustainable peace in the region.
