Russian air defenses destroyed 94 Ukrainian drones heading toward Moscow, according to Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

Russian air defense units intercepted and destroyed 94 unmanned aerial vehicles that were targeting the capital city of Moscow. The operation was confirmed by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Friday morning.
Sobyanin released a series of statements through social media platforms covering the period from 11:00 PM Thursday until 8:00 AM Friday. These updates did not include specific information regarding any damage or casualties resulting from the strikes.
Temporary flight limitations were enforced at four airports located within the Moscow region throughout the night. This measure coincided with the interception efforts reported by local authorities.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced broader operational results, stating that a total of 644 Ukrainian drones were neutralized across 27 Russian regions and over the Black Sea waters. This nationwide tally covers the timeframe between 8:00 PM Thursday and 8:00 AM Friday.
