The Ukrainian Navy reported that Russian drones targeted a Turkish-flagged cargo vessel sailing from Odesa, leading to the evacuation of two crew members.

The Ukrainian Navy stated on Friday that Russian unmanned aerial vehicles attacked a cargo ship traveling from the Ukrainian port of Odesa to Turkey. This assault resulted in the evacuation of two crew members, according to a Reuters report.
According to a message posted on the Navy's Telegram channel, the vessel was flying the flag of Vanuatu and was carrying cargo at the time of the attack. However, no additional details were provided regarding the incident.
On Thursday, the shipping agency Tribeca reported a similar event involving drone strikes on three oil tankers in the Black Sea near Turkey's northern coast.
Since the onset of the Russia-Ukraine conflict more than four years ago, both Moscow and Kyiv have repeatedly targeted each other's ports and oil tankers. Neither side has claimed responsibility for the latest drone attack.
