An Iranian official stated that, under an agreement, the United States has consented to release $25 billion of Iran's frozen assets.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today significant progress across all fronts of its special military operation. It reported that its forces have so far taken control of and cleared 117 buildings in the strategically important town of Kostyantynivka, located within Donetsk province, according to Sputnik.

In its daily briefing, the ministry detailed that the continuous military successes and rapid advances of Russian troops deep within Kostyantynivka have created a new battlefield reality. This development compelled Ukrainian authorities in Kyiv to initiate extensive evacuations of key official institutions and administrations from the neighboring towns of Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka, relocating them to western regions of Ukraine.

The northern front of Donetsk province in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine is witnessing a broad escalation of military activity. Russian forces have resumed ground assaults along several main axes in an accelerated effort to seize remaining northern areas of the province and open a route toward Kramatorsk, the largest remaining Ukrainian urban center in northern Donetsk.

Currently, three major battles are underway on this front, involving the towns of Lyman, Kostyantynivka, and Dibrivka. Together, these engagements form the core of the Russian offensive aimed at breaching Ukrainian defenses and reaching Kramatorsk, which represents Moscow's primary strategic objective at this stage of the operation.
