Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss the US-Iran agreement and developments in Lebanon and Gaza.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during the ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the United States.
The two ministers reviewed regional and international developments, focusing primarily on the US-Iran agreement and the progress made in negotiations between the two parties. They also emphasized the importance of ensuring freedom of international navigation through the Strait of Hormuz without restrictions. Additionally, the discussion covered the latest developments in Gaza and Lebanon.
Attending the meeting were His Highness Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al-Farhan, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs; His Excellency Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Bahrain; His Excellency Walid bin Abdulhamid Al-Samaeil, Director General of the Minister’s Office; and Her Excellency Dr. Manal Radwan, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan also met with His Excellency Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, on the sidelines of the joint ministerial meeting between the GCC countries and the United States.
The meeting included a review of the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them in a manner that serves their mutual interests and strengthens the course of joint Gulf cooperation.
They further discussed regional developments, especially the US-Iran agreement, and ways to support diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and enhancing security and stability in the region.
Additionally, Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly State of Qatar, during the joint ministerial meeting between the GCC countries and the United States.
The meeting reviewed the cooperative relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed the latest regional developments and efforts to strengthen security and stability. They also examined updates regarding the memorandum of understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran and its impact on regional security and stability.
