Israeli authorities are investigating whether pilots holding Iranian, Syrian and Iraqi nationalities landed at Ben Gurion Airport. The probe follows a security lapse involving FlyDubai flight FZ1073.

Hebrew Channel 12 reported that Israeli authorities and the internal security agency are investigating whether pilots holding Iranian, Syrian and Iraqi nationalities managed to land at Ben Gurion Airport.
According to the channel, "Israel is investigating whether pilots holding dual nationality, one of which is from a hostile state, have landed at Ben Gurion Airport in recent years."
It added: "Israel received lists of pilot names from FlyDubai, but it turned out that these lists had not undergone the required security screening."
According to the report by Hebrew "Channel 12," it was found that "some of the pilots who flew flights for foreign airlines heading to Israel in recent years held dual nationalities."
The report noted that "other international authorities are assisting Israel in addressing this security breach."
These intensive security investigations come in the wake of the incident involving FlyDubai flight number FZ1073 bound for Tel Aviv.
