Hebrew reports hinted at the possibility of launching a third wave of war against Iran, amidst reports of American pressure exerted by the US President on Israel to carry out a "single strike" against Tehran due to his reluctance to influence the US elections.

The Hebrew newspaper "Maariv," in an analysis, stated that "the chapters of the Iranian file have not yet ended; it is very likely that the third round is imminent, and it does not matter which government takes power in Israel, as it will find itself compelled to deal with Iran."

The newspaper clarified that this assessment rests on several points: first, although American pressures - represented by naval and economic blockades - are indeed affecting Iran, they have not yet achieved the desired result sought by both Israel and the United States.

The paper says that "the ultimate goal lies in the collapse of the Ayatollah's regime in Tehran. The secondary goal lies in handing over Iran's stockpiles of enriched materials to the United States or to a Western country. Another requirement lies in delivering a strong blow to Iran's ballistic missile capabilities."

It adds that "while these capabilities suffered severe damage during two previous rounds of war, American reports indicate that Iranians are working on rebuilding this system with the help of external parties."

The Hebrew newspaper quoted numerous sources within the security establishment saying that "the situation in Iran is not as bad as portrayed, nor have the Iranians crossed the red line set by Israel."

A military official says: "There are parties interested in inflaming the situation on the ground currently, as a round of fighting would likely serve their interests; therefore, we must look at the position with professionalism and caution."

He adds that "the Israeli army and air force are on maximum alert, especially in anticipation of the possibility that a party in Iran decides to commit a mistake and fire towards Israel; whether driven by a feeling of being cornered, a desire to obstruct the elections, or perhaps a desire to challenge the United States at this time."

He continued: "The air force stands ready to defend the skies and intercept any missiles that may be fired in this direction, and it is also prepared to respond just as it did during the 17-hour attack," according to him.

The Israeli military official pointed out that "conversely, the Israeli army is not currently preparing to launch a preemptive strike against Iran; this matter is not on the agenda at present."

According to "Maariv," the Israeli army and the security establishment clearly confirm that Iran has not yet taken any actual step requiring another round of attacks, and certainly not before the elections.

It is worth noting that the Israeli army is currently succeeding - whether in Gaza or Lebanon - in maintaining an "offensive-defensive" posture without violating the ceasefire agreement, according to the newspaper.

It noted that "in Gaza, the Israeli army neutralizes between 3 and 4 militants daily. Most of these individuals work on rehabilitating Hamas by rebuilding its strength, including compensating for shortages in its ranks, operating weapons, and establishing ammunition depots."

It indicated that "in Lebanon, Hezbollah is working to enhance its capabilities beyond the 'Yellow Line,' attempting in turn to compensate for shortages in its ranks and arm along a new defensive line."

The newspaper concluded by emphasizing that the Israeli army is currently operating in both sectors - each characterized by unique operational features - to prevent the acquisition of weapons or military buildup that could threaten the North or South.

This parallels the Israeli army's work to prevent Iran or its proxies from taking any actions to obstruct the elections scheduled for the twenty-seventh of this month.
