The Ministry of Interior in Qatar announced on Sunday that three individuals, including a child, sustained injuries caused by shrapnel resulting from Iranian attacks. This update was part of the ministry's ongoing monitoring of the field developments.

The ministry stated that security authorities and civil defense teams have initiated their procedures according to approved response plans, confirming that the injured are receiving necessary medical care.

Qatar's Interior Ministry emphasized that the activation of national alert and warning procedures occurs only when there is a need to implement additional precautionary measures to preserve public safety.

The ministry urged the public to obtain information solely from official sources and to refrain from spreading rumors or sharing any unverified information, images, or videos to avoid legal accountability.

It also affirmed that the relevant security agencies continue their work with full readiness around the clock, enhancing rapid response capabilities, maintaining community security and safety, and ensuring the continuity of services in a normal manner.

This announcement comes as the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian army declared today that they launched missile and drone strikes targeting several American interests and bases in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Oman.

Earlier, the U.S. military announced it had completed a new wave of airstrikes on Iran, marking the third such operation this week.

The U.S. Central Command stated in a release: "We targeted approximately 140 Iranian military sites using aircraft from land and sea bases, drones, and naval vessels," noting that the strikes followed an attack by the Revolutionary Guard on a Cyprus-flagged container ship.

In response, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that the U.S. military attacked southern Iranian coasts as compensation for its failure in the Strait of Hormuz and warned that continued aggression would provoke a harsher retaliation.
