On Friday, the results of President Donald Trump’s annual physical examination were made public following his visit earlier in the week to Walter Reed Military Medical Center for a routine medical and dental evaluation.

During the assessment, Capt. Sean Barbabella, DO, noted that the bruising on Trump’s hands observed over recent months aligns with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking combined with aspirin use for cardiovascular prevention.

The President’s height and weight were recorded as 6 feet, 3 inches and 238 pounds, respectively, placing his body mass index near the clinical obesity threshold, according to USA Today.

In the physician’s report, Trump was described as maintaining excellent health, with strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function. The report highlighted that his demanding schedule, which includes numerous high-level meetings, public appearances, and consistent physical activity, supports his well-being.

Trump took to Truth Social to express pride in the examination results, stating, “The results of my Physical Examination, taken at Walter Reed Military Medical Center, and just released, were extremely good.”

Trump Emphasizes Cognitive Test Performance

He underscored his cognitive test achievements, declaring on social media that unlike other U.S. Presidents, he has taken an approved, high-difficulty cognitive test and scored a perfect 30 out of 30, which he labeled as “extreme intelligence.” Trump added that this was his fourth consecutive perfect score, totaling 120 correct answers out of 120 questions, a feat he described as very rare.

He further asserted that all candidates for President and Vice President should be required to take such high-difficulty cognitive tests and called on Congress and political opponents to mandate this.

CNN Medical Analyst Comments on Test Validity

Dr. Jonathan Reiner, a medical analyst for CNN, reviewed the physical exam results, including the cognitive test, and offered his perspective. He indicated that the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) test appears to have been used again.

Dr. Reiner remarked that repeatedly administering the MOCA test is not particularly useful because the questions remain largely unchanged over time, which may affect its reliability in detecting cognitive decline.

Health Recommendations Included in Report

The report, as cited by ABC, also mentioned that preventive counseling was provided, covering dietary guidance, recommendations to continue low-dose aspirin, increase physical activity, and pursue ongoing weight loss.

Trump is currently on aspirin for cardiac prevention and is taking Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe to manage cholesterol levels.

Recently, he criticized the Freedom 250 concert, suggesting it should be converted into a MAGA rally after performers withdrew from the event.
