Politico reports that President Donald Trump is discussing the potential dismissal of White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles with his inner circle, citing declining approval ratings and rival influence.

Politico reported, citing sources familiar with the matter, that U.S. President Donald Trump is discussing with his inner circle the possibility of firing White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.
According to the newspaper's sources, Trump links his declining approval ratings to Wiles' actions, while her rivals in the administration seek to draw Trump's attention to negative reports concerning her family and close associates.
Wiles, 69, has not yet discussed with the President the duration of her tenure in her current position.
According to the newspaper's information, Trump is considering several names as potential candidates for the role of White House Chief of Staff, most notably: Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy.
The U.S. President himself denied these reports, stating: "This is completely fake news. Politico does not care about fact-checking, integrity, or professional journalism, which is exactly why they were kicked out of the White House!"
Trump added: "Susie Wiles is the most loyal and longest-serving White House Chief of Staff I have had, and there is a reason for that; she has stood by my side from the beginning, is my trusted advisor, and enjoys my complete confidence."
Susie Wiles is considered one of the key architects of modern American policy, having earned the nickname "The Ice Lady" for her sharp intelligence and exceptional ability to manage crises behind the scenes away from the spotlight.
Her long career culminated in making history as the first woman to serve as White House Chief of Staff, reflecting her unique status as a trusted advisor enjoying exceptional confidence.
Despite the political and health challenges she faced, Wiles demonstrated rare competence in imposing order and building consensus within the U.S. administration.
In mid-September, Wiles announced the successful completion of her cancer treatment program.
