Former U.S. President Donald Trump said he was “happy about it” and added, “I was never a fan” of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

He described his relationship with Queen Elizabeth II as “very good” and characterized his relationship with King Charles III as “very good” as well, calling the monarch “a wonderful man.”

Trump stated that he believed the couple treated the British royal family “with great disdain,” expressing disapproval of their conduct and specifically criticizing Markle’s behavior as “extremely disrespectful” toward both the late queen and King Charles.

He emphasized that, were he in a position to make the decision on behalf of the British royal family, he “wouldn’t take them back” — a direct reference to their departure from royal duties and their public actions over recent years.
