Trump: Iran Must Make a 'Right and Wise' Decision or It Won't Last Long
US President Donald Trump warned on Friday that Iran must make a "right and wise" decision, stating the country will not last long otherwise. He highlighted US naval dominance in the Strait of Hormuz and claimed Iran's military manufacturing capabilities have collapsed.

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that Iran must make a "right and wise" decision, warning that if it does not, it "will not last long," according to his statement.
Trump added in remarks to reporters that "the US Navy is imposing a blockade, and no Iranian ship has been able to cross the Strait of Hormuz for months. Iran does not have advanced radars and sometimes tries to plant naval mines, but we usually remove them before they are deployed."
He continued, saying: "We accomplished the mission in Iran in one day and stayed there longer because we did not want our victory to be short-lived. Previous presidents should have dealt with the Iran issue a long time ago."
Trump further stated: "Iran's military manufacturing capability has collapsed, and most of its leaders are gone; we do not know who we are dealing with there after the departure of most of its leaders."
He reiterated his statement regarding the end of the war, saying it "will end quickly. Ultimately, things will end with Iran one way or another. Iran will never possess a nuclear weapon and is no longer what it was; it wants to reach an agreement."
