Trump: Iran War Not Cause of High Gas Prices
Donald Trump stated that the Strait of Hormuz is no longer responsible for rising gas prices, blaming Ukrainian attacks on Russian refineries and closures in US states governed by Democrats.

US President Donald Trump said that the Strait of Hormuz is no longer the reason behind rising gasoline prices, arguing that the problem lies in damage to Russian refineries caused by Ukrainian attacks and the closure of refineries in US states governed by Democrats.
Trump added, in a post on his Truth Social platform, that record quantities of oil are being pumped almost daily, according to his expression.
He attributed the continued rise in gasoline prices to what he described as Ukraine's destruction of Russian refineries, and the closure of American refineries in "blue" states, referring to states supporting the Democratic Party, specifically mentioning California.
Trump directed sharp criticism at the Democrats, holding them responsible for closing those refineries, without the post including figures on oil quantities or affected refining capacity.
