A US law firm backed by Donald Trump labeled the Nobel Peace Prize award to UN official Navi Pillay as an irreparable disgrace and insult.

Donald Trump shared a post on his Truth Social platform originating from a United States law office that characterized the decision to award the Nobel Peace Prize to United Nations member Navi Pillay as an insult to the prestigious prize. The legal firm, led by attorney David I. Schoen, argued that the Nobel Committee had inflicted an irreparable disgrace upon the institution by selecting Pillay.
The statement asserted that Pillay is hostile toward both America and Israel. It further claimed she celebrated terrorists and rewarded Hamas. The law office alleged that Pillay conducted a false investigation in which she accused Israel of committing genocide and urged for its prosecution.
According to the post, Pillay lacks credibility in any natural field. The text stated she has done nothing noteworthy to promote peace, asserting her actions were the exact opposite of such efforts.
The commentary questioned what could be expected from a committee that previously granted the distinguished Peace Prize to Yasser Arafat. This rhetorical point served to undermine the legitimacy of the current selection process.
The law firm praised President Trump and his achievements. It concluded that he deserved the honor and the Nobel Peace Prize more than Pillay did.
