US President Donald Trump indicated in a statement that "we will achieve good performance in the midterm elections, and prices have begun to decline, including fuel prices."

He said: "We are in a very good position while Iran is in a very bad situation."

Trump mentioned that "millions of barrels of oil exited the Strait of Hormuz during the past days."

He pointed out that "the Iranian economy has collapsed and inflation reached 300 percent," clarifying that "traffic rates through the Strait of Hormuz exceeded pre-war levels."

He considered that "the strength of the dollar grants us significant advantages and helps us deal with inflation."
