President Trump stated the responsible party for the deadly strike on an Iranian girls' school in Minab may never be identified.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump said it might never be known who was responsible for the strike on a girls' school in Iran that killed dozens of children on February 28, the first day of the war with Iran.
In March, the U.S. military conducted an initial internal investigation which concluded that American forces were likely responsible for the deadly strike in Minab, southern Iran. Since then, the Pentagon has expanded the investigation but has not released any preliminary findings.
Trump told reporters, "I don't know if they're ever going to solve this problem," according to Reuters.
He added, "I don't know if they will solve this problem in terms of identifying responsibility because missiles were flying everywhere, and what happened was terrible but missiles were flying everywhere."
Trump continued, "Someone said it was our missiles, maybe it wasn't our missiles, but I haven't seen anything to make me believe it was our missiles... I think we were not the cause of that."
Iranian officials stated that the strike, which occurred during a U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran, resulted in the deaths of more than 175 children and teachers.
Sources familiar with the matter told Reuters in March that the strike might have been caused by the United States using outdated targeting data.
Under international humanitarian law, a deliberate attack on a school would likely constitute a war crime. U.S. officials have stated that Washington would not intentionally target a school.
The attack provoked global outrage and was described by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights as "extremely horrific."
Initially, Trump claimed without evidence that Iran was responsible. However, he has since said he does not know enough about the strike, that the investigation is ongoing, that he will accept the investigation's results, and that no one deliberately attacked the school.
Trump also told Reuters that NATO countries "let us down" in the war against Iran.
